Indian Cooking Classes
Are you in love with Indian food but
can't tell the difference between garam masala and jeera? Learn to cook vegetarian
and non vegetarian Indian food with our expert team having 20 years of cooking
experience.
An array of delicacies will be prepared, using authentic cooking practices,
agreeable to even the most discerning palates. Participants will have hands-on
experience of the fresh, earthy and spicy fragrances of Indian cuisine ranging from
everyday meals to rich, exotic Mughal-style dishes. In addition, you will learn the
traditional art of incorporating different grains, beans, lentils, nuts, seeds,
milk, yoghurt and vegetables in preparing well-balanced meals.
You will receive instruction in the following:
introduction to different grains and herbs
the use of Ayurvedic herbs and spices
planning delicious, well-balanced meals that include appetizers, entrees, breads and
desserts in each session
making ghee (clarified butter), paneer (home-made cheese), garam masala
making Indian breads such as chapatis, paranthas and puri
making delicious curries for the non vegetarian and vegetarian dishes
reducing calories without sacrificing taste
